PAST PERECT CONTINUOUS/ PASADO PERFECTO CONTINUO

PAST PERFECT CONTINUOUS/ PASADO PERFECTO CONTINUO

"PAST IN THE PAST"

Past Perfect Continuous is an action which started in the past continued up until another time in the past.

- also called -progressive- = Past Perfect Progressive.

Example/ejemplo:

How long had he been rehearsing when he took a break?

Example:

She'd been working in the sales department for two years before she was promoted.

Example:

She was tired because she had been skiing.

👍 She'd not been practising for a long time.
(No había estado mucho tiempo practicando)
👎 The girl'd /Louise'd not been practising for a long time.

👍 She hadn't been practising for a long time.
(No había estado mucho tiempo practicando)
           👍The girl/Louise hadn't been practising for a long time.
