INTERJECTIONS/ INTERJECCIONES

💭Definition: Interjections are words used to express strong feeling or sudden emotion. They are included in a sentence (usually at the start) to express a sentiment such as surprise, disgust, joy, excitement, or enthusiasm.

An interjection is not grammatically related to any other parts of the sentence. /

Las interjecciones son palabras que se usan para expresar un sentimiento fuerte o una emoción repentina. Se incluyen en una oración (generalmente al principio) para expresar un sentimiento como sorpresa, disgusto, alegría, emoción o entusiasmo.

Una interjección no está gramaticalmente relacionada con ninguna otra parte de la oración.

Interjections are frequently followed by an exclamation mark (!), which itself is used to express emotion. / Las interjecciones suelen ir seguidas de un signo de exclamación (!), que a su vez se utiliza para expresar emociones.

Bingo	Acknowledge something as right. Reconocer algo como correcto	Bingo! That’s exactly what we were looking for! ¡Bingo! ¡Eso es exactamente lo que estábamos buscando!
Eh	Question something Pregunta algo	So that was all she said, eh? Así que eso fue todo lo que dijo, ¿eh?
Eww	Something disgusting Algo repugnante	Eww! That movie was so gory. ¡Eww! Esa película fue tan sangrienta.

😎👍Some interjections are used to stall for time or indicate that the speaker is thinking of something. These interjections are also used when someone doesn’t know what to say. The following is a list of these sounds or words; they are also called Hesitation Devices:/ Algunas interjecciones se utilizan para ganar tiempo o para indicar que el hablante está pensando en algo. Estas interjecciones también se usan cuando alguien no sabe qué decir. La siguiente es una lista de estos sonidos o palabras; también se les llama dispositivos de vacilación:
